Dr. Govind Padmakumar
Skin Doctor
Dr Govind holds Fellowship of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (FRACGP).
He has a particular interest in skin cancer medicine and has undertaken additional training in skin cancer detection and treatment.
Dr Govind moved to Newcastle in 2008 from the UK. He finished high school locally before going to Sydney for medical school, and subsequently returned home.
Prior to skin cancer medicine, he has spent ample time in the hospital system – working as an emergency doctor for the last several years.
Outside of medicine, he enjoys running, cooking and spending time with his dog.
